Things have gone from bad to worse! Not even the cert of the day could manage a first three finish. We will not move from our ideals, we will stick to what we know best and the way we study form to continue finding winners. Everyone has a bad run but this is starting to get silly! It changes today...
Our 3 for this afternoon.
4.10 Chepstow Fillies Handicap 1m - Respite
This horse will return to form today with everything in her favour. One bad run does not make a bad horse and while since moving into handicaps shes shown very little, we feel that will change today. Liam Jones is very capable and the Haggas stable can never be over looked in these sorts of races. Anything around 3/1 should be taken.
5.20 Catterick Handicap 7f - Neo's Mate
We fully believe in horses for courses and Neo's mate fits that perfectly. She won twice at this track last month and while those wins were over 6f, we see no reason why she wont stay this extra furlong. There is wieght in the argument that she could improve over it. Wont mind a bit of rain in the ground but wouldnt want much more. Take the 4/1 it could look a very nice price come race time.
5.45 Roscommon Handicap 7f - Battimoore
We are taking a risk that he will stay this far but nothing suggests he wont. Pat Smullen in the saddle and after some very encouraging runs this season he looks bang ready to win a race today. Off a similar mark as those runs and with an excellent draw he is as good a 9/2 bet we can find today.

Can we get any worse?
Over the last few days i don't think we can, the horses are running well without winning. Its a phase everyone goes through, and today we break out of it and land some winners.
Our 3 for today!
3.45 Ripon 6f Handicap - Kerry's Requiem
At around 8/1 this horse cant be overlooked today. Should have already registered a win over this course and distance if had not found loads of trouble in running. Often an unlucky horse and not helped by her attitude but with the 7lb swing with her conqueror last time out, we see this as being enough to reverse the form. In good form and primed to run a big race.
5.00 Newton Abbot 3m 2f Conditional Handicap - Scotch Corner
We can overlook this horse today after his run last time out. The price means you can back him EW which is utter madness really, this horse wins today for us and we fully advise you get on it now at around 7/1. Staying on like a train last time out over a trip short of his best. Although not proven he stays this far, his run last time out suggests he will. We feel this extra distance will play to all his strengths. Hit form at just the right time.
7.00 Windsor 5f Handicap - Sister Clement
Will need to focus more emphasis on speed here but there cant be any reasons why this horse wont win tonight. Won as she liked at Newbury and only just failed off this mark last time out, not getting a clear run. Everything looks good for a solid run tonight and you cant ignore Hannon/Hughes at Windsor at the best of times. She is still way way ahead of the handicapper and should be backed at around 6/4.

Back to form today!
Disastrous yesterday, no other word for it. Not even Rainbow View could get going quick enough to beat the very impressive Midday. Who fully deserved her group 1 win after coming so close too often this season.
Our 3 for today.
2.45 Newbury 7f Nursery Handicap - Jehu EW
Needs to show improvement to land the prize today, but we see no reason why he wont. Stayed on very strongly over this trip last time out and in our opinion won very cosily although the short head result might show otherwise. If Culhane can get him going a bit sooner today then he has a very good chance. Might show better form over a mile in due course but at around 14/1 he is our EW selection.
2.55 Chester 6f Nursery - Transfixed
A very consistent horse who likes this course and distance having already won over it this season from a poor draw. Not the most unexposed in the line up but the one most likely to run to form and with the likely favourite not expected to be happy at this trip, we like the look of Transfixed today from a good draw. Take the 100/30 as it will be shorter at the off.
4.35 Chester 1m 4f Handicap - Robby Bobby
In the content of this race he would have every chance in this race on previous form. Giving his chance away by pulled too hard last time out. Not the most reliable horse you will ever back but he is dangerously well handicapped that he cant be missed today. The trip and ground will suit to perfection and if Greg Farley can get him to settle better then he looks a good thing at around 7/2.

Rainbow day!
A fairly poor day yesterday but offset with the 5/1 place of Docofthebay (25/1 3rd). Today's racing looks great with the Nassau Stakes being the highlight for us. Will today be the day Rainbow View shows she is a top class filly? Well we certainly think so!
Our 3 for today.
1.55 Goodwood Handicap 1m 3f - Thin Red Line
Needs to find improvement on his last run to win again, but the form of his last time out second is looking very good. Likes to race prominent which will suit today and with the slight drop back in trip he will run a very good race today. Everything looks to be in his favour at around 8/1 he is a cracking price with Jamie Spencer in the saddle.
2.10 Newmarket Fillies Nursery Handicap 6f - Bathwick Xaara EW
We are taking a bit of a flyer with this horse today, but the way she ran last time out suggested this drop in trip would suit her down the ground. Cost next to nothing at the sales but has shown she has ability in all her starts. Looks to be on what looks a stiffish mark but we disagree with that and see no reason why she wont run well today at 20/1 EW.
3.05 Goodwood Nassau Blue Square Stakes 1m 1f - Rainbow View
This trip will be the making of her. The form figures looks disappointing when you take into account she was the star 2yo of last season, but those figures are top class form when you delve a little deeper. Staying on each time and just not quite getting there, this trip will near on guarantee her first win of the season. Although its a top class race, she looks the stand out horse in it! Currently trading at 4/1 she cant be missed. SMASH THE WALL CERTAINTY!

Off the crossbar!
Two seconds yesterday is no good to the profit/loss but were happy they ran well, if Mourilyan had got going quicker he may well have got there, but it wasn't to be.
Today is probably the day of the hardest races on the five day card, but we feel we may have found the winners of the cavalry charges. But then we would wouldn't we!!
We like the look of three very nice priced horses today.
2.10 Couttes Glorious Stakes 1m 4f - Indian Spirit
A race not known for producing double figure priced winners but this one can very much buck that trend today. Five lengths behind Doctor Fremantle last time out over this distance is very appealing for for this race. Promoted to fourth in the group race he very much looked like laying it down to the winner 2f out before petering out and becoming one paced. Richard Hughes likes this horse and feels a nice win can be had with it. At around 12/1 he should run a good solid race.
2.45 Rolf Group Stewards Sprint Stakes 6f - Harrison George
Richard Fahey has sent five of the runners for this, and all of his runners have to be taken seriously. But the one that stands out best is the selection. He has a great draw, Ryan Moore in the saddle and will very much like the bit of juice in the ground. You could argue that another Fahey runner (Sunrise Safari) holds him on their last run, but this course will suit better and with the draw advantage he now has we feel a big run is on the table for him at 7/1.
3.25 Totesport Mile 1m - Docofthebay EW
An old favourite of ours, this horse loves these big fields, having run very well in the past at this course. Needs to step up on his form this year but the best time to catch him is fresh and again with Ryan Moore up (we don't sponsor him ha ha) he looks sure to run his race. Not the most reliable but on a fair mark and a decent draw. Each-way at around 25/1 he will be carrying our hopes in the big one!

A nice winner yesterday!
A nice 8/1 winner yesterday and we felt the other two ran well without winning. Sweetheart looked like it could have gone round again, never in danger. I think we can now safely say Soto is a monkey, it will win this season but we wont be putting it up on here again.
Our 3 for today.
2.45 Goodwood Audi Stakes 5f - Sugar Free EW
While today is a huge step up for this filly, we feel she can make the grade. 5f is her ideal trip and the ground will suit to perfection. With the weight allowances she finds herself right at the bottom of the card and this will play into her favour. Her win last time out looks good and while she needs to step up, we feel she can! At around 12/1 she is an outstanding EW selection.
3.25 Coutts Goodwood Cup 2m - Mourilyan
It would be amazing to see Carraciola win but the Tom Watson of horse racing might just find the opposition too good today. Mourilyan is the one for us today, the run last time out over a trip too short for him, showed to us that he will need every yard of this 2m distance. Talked about as a serious Ledger Horse he will need to be showing something today to prove that. The stable is out of form but we feel this horse will put pay to that today. 9/1 will do us!
5.00 Guinness Galway Handicap Hurdle 2m - Deutshland
Not an inspired choice in this race but everything looks right for him today. A very usefull horse he spreads his form over flat and hurdles. Some very good runs on the flat this season including a hatrick of victories will have put him spot on for this and he gets in on a very attractive weight. Ruby Walsh up and we cant see him losing at around 11/4.

Thank you for checking in!
We are sorry for not posting for so long. The broadband connection we use has had problem after problem. It was finally fixed yesterday but is dropping off when ever it chooses. We were very happy to see that people have still been dropping by the blog even when we haven't posted for so long. Thank you!
We have 3 fantastic selections for you today.
2.10 Goodwood 2m 5f Handicap - Sweetheart
Course form at Goodwood is a very handy thing to have in the bag, this horse won here earlier in the season and while closely matched with a few of the runners we feel non will appreciate the step up in trip more. Liam Jones is a very capable jockey and we see nothing but positives for this horse today. At around 7/1 it cant be missed.
3.25 Goodwood 1m Sussex Stakes Gp1 - Lord Shanakill EW
This horses last two runs have been a huge improvement on previous form, 3rd in the St James' Palace he then bettered that with a group win in France last time out over this trip. As with the last selection this horse really knows his way around this track, and that cant be ignored here. The big three in the field look sure to run their race but at 16/1 the selection is an outstanding each way bet.
5.35 Redcar 6f Handicap - Soto
Really forced the pace last time out and in our opinion ran a blinder. Not won for a while which is a worry but the horse is a model of consistency. Constantly running well without winning, but we have been advised that the horse is widely expected to win today with the 7lb claimer on board. Take the price early as we are hopeful the money will come over the course of the afternoon.

A new week!!
Apologies for no posts over the weekend. But we are back for a new week after a very nice start to the month on Friday.
Our thoughts were with Andy Murray, more aces, more winners and less unforced errors but still lost. Who said football was a funny old game? Andy Roddick showed himself to be an exceptional tennis player and a model professional.
Our 3 for today...
2.45 Mussleburgh 1m 6f Handicap - Baizically
After his last run you could argue the handicapper has got hold of him, but we disagree and feel there were logical reasons for last time outs poor run. Over today's trip which should suit him better and with conditions looking right for him, we are expecting a big run from this one today.
5.00 Brighton 5f Handicap - Louies Lad
If you like backing ungenuine horses then this is the one for you, always the bridesmaid and never the bride, this horse is consistently places and the word we have received over the weekend has told us its today or never. They are fully confident of a huge run today and are fully confident of him breaking his maiden tag.
7.20 Ripon 6f Fillies Maiden Auction Stakes - City Vaults Girl
A very encouraging debut at Pontefract we see no reason why this horse wont improve hugely from that run. A nicely bred filly who shaped as if winning wasn't far away after being right up in the firing line. With the stable in tremendous form and with this horse being their only entry on the card, she will go well tonight.
Thank you for continuing to check out the blog and again sorry for no posts over the weekend.

Its Murray time!
What a day of tennis lies ahead! Roger Federer should book his place in the final quite comfortably. Although Hass took two sets off him at the French Open, this is Wimbledon and grass and that wont be happening again today. The big battle of the day is obviously the battle of the two Andy's. We tipped up Murray from the start at around 4/1 and to be honest if he does make the final his price wont be much shorter, but he looks to have a cracking chance and we see no reason why he wont be facing Federer on Sunday. If he can find a first serve rhythm and pick his second serve up a little then Roddick doesn't really have much to worry the finest returner of serve on the tour.
This is our first post of July and we are confident of returning a very nice profit for this month. We have been told of at least four gambles happening this month and along with other sports it is sure to be a fantastic month of sports betting.
Today is full of extremely difficult to read cards, but we have three outstanding bets for today.
2.00 Doncaster 1m4f Handicap - Bollin Greta
The Easterby stable like to land a gamble and the money for the well handicapped Sporting Gesture could be significant. But we like what seems to be the stables number one chance, we are confident that a poor run last time will be left well behind. Everything looked in her favour at Ripon and for some reason she just didn't fire, but connections have persevered with the trip and a big run is on the cards.
2.20 Sandown 5f Handicap - Cake
This horse will relish this drop in drip after weakening in the final furlong over six last time out at Newmarket. We would expect this horse to come in for strong support and with a very good draw the horse will run a very good race today, we see no reason he wont run a place but could easily win this with Richard Hughes in the saddle.
4.10 Doncaster 7f Handicap - Musaalem
Loves this course and with a 4lb drop for his running at Royal Ascot last time this horse has massive appeal today. The Haggas/Hills partnership is one of our favourites and he is a standout bet.

Bloody Germans!!
No winners yesterday but we hope you took an interest in our near 3/1 tennis treble. What about the Hewitt fight back, could he go all the way? The England lads didn't deliver what we expected yesterday. Goes to show you can never back against the Germans in finals, it does show that the youngsters are moving in the right direction though.
Our 3 selections for today....
3.15 Hamilton 1m Handicap - Aldaado
Up only 4lb for his win last time out, this horse has been improving all season. He likes to be held up and come with a late run, there should be pace in the race which will play into the selections hands. He is the closest thing to a good thing today but is not the best bet we have.
3.30 Brighton 7f Selling stakes - Proud Junior
Although this horse doesn't stand out on the bare facts of form, the booking of Ryan Moore for SA Callaghan certainly does. The horse will need to improve the form its shown in 3 maidens but it is a safe bet he will. There is a little whisper around for this horse today. Although to be honest the source is not one we like to take overly serious, not to say they haven't been right once or twice though.
9.00 Thirsk 5f Handicap - Crimea - SMASH THE WALL CERTAINTY
Interesting that this horse is being brought up against older and more experienced horses so soon. He is already a winner at this course on debut and we see nothing that can beat him tonight. This costly horse is open to plenty of improvement and will be our third Smash the Wall Certainty. We honest cant see this horse not winning tonight.
Out fun Wimbledon bet today will be S Lisicki to beat D. Safina. She had a tough game yesterday and its fair to say this isn't her surface. We are certain she wont win the tournament and today could well be the day she goes out. Lisicki at around 7/4 is a standout bet today.
For boxing fans, Jason Booth cannot be missed tonight at around 7/4 to win by KO or TKO against Rocky Dean in the British Title fight at York Hall.

A quick update!
Many have suggested that we put up our winners odds and what profit we are showing (if any). We have had a look over this and as it currently stands we are showing:
These are based solely on our 3 per day selections and not the fun bets we add at the bottom.
6 winners at prices 5/1, 5/1, 7/4, 15/2 and 6/1.
Smash the Wall Certainties - 2 bets advised - 1 winner at 6/1.
Current profit based on level stakes of +2 points.
It is early days in our blogging and like we said this blog is to incite debate and create comment. It was a shocking start we had, but we do feel things have picked up slowly and we are certain they will improve. If you have followed us religiously you are in profit, this will continue to grow. Like we said earlier if we had started after Ascot we would be showing a far greater profit to level stakes. This was a gamble that did not work on our part.
Thank you to the daily visitors we attract and we hope this continues to grow.
Enjoy your sport.

We're back!
We apologise fully for not being here since Thursday. It was caused by a family matter and we didn't feel it would be right to post. Our thoughts and feelings are with you! But we are back now and we have some great bets for today.
What a weekend of sport we've had, Spain being dumped out the ConFed cup by America. Then the Americans going on to take a 2-0 lead against the Samba Boys before class coming through and them only losing in the final moments of a fantastic game!
Its back to Wimbledon today, with Andy Murray looking to a certainty to make it to the last eight. Leyton Hewitt is going well also and we see no reason why he wont join him in the quarters. Its hotting up nicely. How many lumped on the weekend good thing, Fame and Glory? The rematch with Sea the Stars looks mouthwatering!
3.45 Pontefract - 6f Handicap - Mango Music
Back to form last time out at Haydock over 6f this horse won this race last year off a 1lb higher mark. This horse looks a good thing to us today. There are dangers in the race though, Mango Music likes to set a decent gallop up front which could pay into Artistic Licence hands but with the selection still 4lb off her highest winning mark and with it putting a good run together at this time last season she looks the one today.
4.45 Pontefract - 6f Handicap - Whatyouwoodwishfor
This horse won over this trip at Great Leighs last November then put in a decent run first time out finishing 4th. It didn't go quite so well last time out, finishing second last over a inadequate 7f at Doncaster. Gelded since and back over its favourite trip this horse looks primed to fun a big race today.
8.40 Windsor - 1m3f Fillies Handicap - Silken Promise
This horse looks like this longer trip will suit to perfection. Running well in 3 maidens to date, she looks finely tuned for her first run in handicap company. If the money comes which we expect it too this horse will look more of a good thing than it already does. If you are to back this horse take the currently available odds on offer.
Good luck to Stuart Pearce and the England u21 team tonight in the final against Germany, you couldn't have wished for a better final really and we really like the look of James Milner for the first goal at around 8/1. Also in today's Wimbledon we are going to try a little fun treble of what look three good things today; T Hass, JC Ferrero and A Roddick all to win pays around 5/2 upwards depending where you have it.
Enjoy the days sport.

A Smash the Wall Certainty winner!
One winner, and it was the Smash The Wall Certainty (1/2) at a tasty 6/1 SP. It really did look like a good thing yesterday and we very much hope you were on it. Shame about the other two but that's racing!
Andy Murray once again enters the Wimbledon spotlight today and with him wanting to show his first round was a blip, we full expect him to win in straight sets this afternoon!
2.30 Newcastle Maiden Auction Stakes - King of Reason
This is a difficult race and with the unraced Lord Aeryn the likely favourite its fair to say they are expecting a big race from this one day, running against horses that have already tasted the race course. Of those the one we like most is Kind of Reason, 3rd of 12 on debut over the same trip, this horse was running on well at the end and with the horse likely to fair better on turf, with experience under his belt a big run can be expected.
3.50 Warwick Fillies Listed - Damaniyat Girl
I'm sure lots of people will be lumping on Golden Stream today, but we just don't see it winning. The last run was a good run and would put him bang there but we don't expect him reproducing that today. The selection will be Damaniyat Girl, she has shaped well in 2 group 3 contests this season and just found the 1m trip a furlong too far last time out. With blinkers on today we see this horse running a huge race and fully reversing the form with the hot favourite.
5.10 Kempton Handicap - L'Hirondelle
With Sarah Park not proven on the service we really like the look of L'Hirondelle, the horse has show enough in its starts to have an outstanding chance today. Without doubt this horse does not put its best foot forward sometimes, but with improvment still likey we feel the horse will go very well tonight.
I hope you like the map widget down the right, over the next few days you will be able to see which countries the blogs visitors are arriving from (if any other that Britain).
Enjoy the days sport!

What a shocker!!
If we are to mention our winners, we must mention our losers and 0/3 yesterday is certainly not what we expected. We also expected more from Ginepri v Hewitt and after breaking the Australian and going 4-1 up in the first set, we didn't see him losing in straight sets. But that's tennis. It is so unpredictable, and i think the ladies game is even worse! How many bets went down with Murray dropping a set?? He was made to work hard, but class showed in the end and he marches into the second round.
We have 3 more for you today and are expecting much better than yesterday. Don't forget to comment on the posts and leave your selections and fancies for the day!!
2.30 Carlisle - Maiden Auction Stakes - Stanley Bridge EW
We are never shy to tip a huge priced horse and this one is our biggest yet. Currently trading at 109/1 on betfair. The pedigree of this horse cries out speed and over this 5f this horse could easily run into a place. Not shown nothing in 2 runs to date, but we think today could be the day he runs a big race. He may not win and at the price no one thinks he will. But these races show up all sorts of results and this one could shock today EW. WATCH YOUR BETS IN THIS RACE AS THERE IS A STANLEY BRIDGE AND A SYDNEY BRIDGE!!!
3.05 Carlisle Handicap - Sunnyside Tom
This is our number one selection today, this looks a good thing to us! 3rd of 8 last time out at Ayr over a mile. He was a course and distance winner here 2 outings ago. Slightly up in the weights last time out he ran a good race over a trip we feel is a furlong too far. With a great draw here he is very much fancied to win! THIS HORSE IS THE SECOND SMASH THE WALL CERTAINTY!
9.10 Bath Handicap - Style Icon
This horse ran well last time out not quite getting home over 6f, fading a furlong out before finishing 5th of 10 at Yarmouth. The horse is the most unexposed in the race and maybe open to a little further improvement, we feel the drop to 5f is in its favour and see no real reason this horse wont run well this evening.
So that's our 3 for today. For an interest bet at Wimbledon we like the look of Beck at around evens to beat Almagro, this is not the latters surface and with Beck looking to get back to form following his suspension, he is the selection.

Things are picking up!!
Well 1/3 yesterday with a 15/2 winner. Things are slowly picking up after the already said "awful Ascot" we had. I mean could it have been any worse?? We were shocking, 1 winner over 4 days. But 3 winners in the last 2 days have done much to steady our nerves and get the ball rolling the way we want it too. I guess the bookies got the Laura Robson match correct but she put up a very brave fight to take the first set, and the future looks very bright for her. Even Federer got broken in the first set, before recovering well to win in straight sets. Will there be any big shocks this year???
3.45 Beverley Handicap - Snowed Under
Darryl Holland has a couple of nice rides today at Beverly including the hot favourite in the 4.15. The this is the one we like the look of today. Top weight but this horse loves it here having already won 3 times over course and distance. Plus with the ground very much in its favour. Holland has already won 3 times on this horse and a 4th looks very likely today.
4.00 Brighton Handicap - Crystallize
This horse scored twice last month and didn't lose any credit running 4th last time out. Running off the same mark of 68 today and with bottom weight in a tight race is taken to win. There are a couple of course specialists in the race but they are very hit and miss. Crystallize will do for us.
6.20 Newbury Apprentice Handicap - Sinbad the Sailor
There is a very strong word around for this horse tonight and we are sure the current price will shorten. Showing vastly improved form last time out. John Hills horses are in great form at the moment, we are confident he will defy the 3lb rise and we are not the only ones. This horse is fully expected to win this evening. Take the currently available 4/1.
If you are wanting an interest bet at Wimbledon this afternoon then look no further than R. Genpri to give L.Hewitt a very tight game, at around 5/1. Hewitt is not the player he was and has been struggling for form over the last few months.
Happy punting and good luck to Andy Murray today in his first round match, not that he should need it.

Anyone for Strawberries?
What a game of cricket yesterday, a brilliant final and a good result. The two strongest bowling teams meeting in the final shows 20/20 is not just about slogging! We also have the start of Wimbledon today, the first day always throws up an unlikely winner or two and today will be no different.
3.15 Lingfield Handicap - Chjimes
Beaten last time out this horse returns to his favourite track today and we don't feel he has stopped winning just yet. Up 7 pounds for not winning is not ideal but we still feel there is improvement there. Slowly away last time could be to blame for the defeat but expected to run very well today.
8.10 Windsor Handicap - Sparkling Crystal - EW
This is an interesting race and there are four or five in with a more obvious chance than Sparkling Crystal but the trainer keeps putting him in with decent types and with decent form in the bag he is taken to go very close off bottom weight. Still being a maiden after 11 starts is a little bit of a worry but with no weight on his back we are confident of William Buick giving us a good run at a nice price.
Wimbledon Womens draw Round 1 - Laura Robson to beat Hantuchova
A very difficult first round for last years junior winner but she wont be fazed after getting a wide card into the draw, we feel she will play with no pressure on her shoulders and could be the shock of the day knocking out the very talented Hantuchova. A widely available 5/1 could be very nice price.
After the disaster of Ascot we were glad to be back with 2/3 yesterday including a nice 5/1 winner. Hoping for more of the same today. Please feel free to leave comments and get this blog thriving with opinion and debate.
Good luck with today's bets!

Back to the grind!
As many have said to us, we took a huge gamble launching this blog over Royal Ascot, we were either going to look fantastic or shocking and sadly it was the latter. Not a great meeting for picking winners! But like we say every race has one.
Back to our bread and butter now the big meeting is over. A great day for sport today, the Grand Prix is about to start then we have the 20/20 final later.
Our three for today are.....
2.40 Fillies Handicap - Pontefract - Singora Lady
3 1/2 lengths behind Mountain Cat last time out, this filly was staying on hand over fist over the mile, this step up in trip looks ideal and with the ground looking like it will suit, this horse will go very close today receiving weight all round.
3.00 Mares Handicap Hurdle - Pure Genius
Lightly races and with still more improvement to come, she came second last time out giving the winner 33 pounds. Over the same trip and with good ground there again we feel there is nothing in the race that matches up to that form. At around 5/1 this is a standout bet today.
20/20 World Cup Final
Although Sri Lanka are the hot favourites, we just feel Pakistan have the momentum from knocking the South Africans out in the semis. They will not want to lose in the final again as they have in the past. 20/20 is so tight in that it truly can go either way despite the odds and at the prices and for an interest in watching the match. Pakistan are the bet at around 7/4.
Have a great days winning and enjoy today's sport!

Sorry its a quick one!
Really sorry for running late today, we had one picked out in the first but it came third so nothing missed. We really fancy one in the 3.05 today!!
3.05 - Steel Tango
Layed out for this race and expect to see the money come for this before the off, it is shortening in price as i type this. Doctor Freemantle is a strong place lay!
3.45 Golden Jubilee - J J The Jet Plane
We simply cannot look past this horse to win this race, it goes against out policy of chosing many fabourites but this one looks good today. 5/2 is a cracking price!
4.25 - Zidane
The outstanding EW bet of this meeting. 25/1 upwards!
Sorry for the rushed nature of todays post but time caught up with us this morning and we just wanted to get the selections up!
Good luck and happy gambling!

A winner at last but not the one we expected!
OK, so the "Smash The Wall Certainty" got hammered, literally! A shocking run through, bumped all over, but so was the winner so its not a real excuse. You could argue he wouldn't have won with a clear run. Something was clearly amiss with the horse on the day! How good does Radiohead look? Could he be the challenger to Canford Cliff next season? But what a win for Frankie 8's into 5's and never a danger. Lets hope for more of the same today.......
To be honest its not the start we expected and the little bit of flak we have received from the betfair forum is justified. But be aware this site is not designed to achieve god like tipping status. It is to incite debate and to create a thriving community of like minded people who share a common interest. On top of this we guarantee the winners and tips to return a profit - FREE and ALWAYS WILL BE!!
2.30 Albany Stakes - Falling Angel (EW)
Another American hotpot lines up in this race but his last win was over 5f and its not nailed on this extra furlong will suit. The Cole/Moore partnership cant be over looked and its interesting they decide to take on Sweet Sonnet again after finishing second to the Goldolphin horse last time out at York. The ground was similar to todays and we can see this horse at least running a place at a tasty 25/1 upwards.
3.05 King Edward VII Stakes - Debussy
9 lengths behind Sea the Stars in the Derby, it is obvious that 1m4f is the seen as the idea trip by John Gosden. With Jimmy Fortune in the saddle you know you will get an inspired ride and we feel this horse will prove to be a little classier than the rest of the field today. A nice price again, we are confident this horse will show something really special today!
3.45 Coronation Stakes - Rainbow View
I cant explain how much we love Rainbow View, the horse WILL go on to show she is by far the classiest horse in this field. The only problem today is the ground, while she has run well on it before, if a little bit of rain arrived and juiced up the ground a bit then there is no way this horse will be 8/1 come the off. But the expected forecast shows that it may not arrive which is a real concern but at the price generally on offer we feel its is worth taking the chance she will run a big race, stay out of trouble and win with considerable style.
Once again enjoy your racing and lets get these comments boards thriving with opinion and debate!

A shocking first day!
How is it when you want a first day to go well, it usually doesn't? We could have put 3 shorties up and then claimed the glory when they scoot home. We went all out for 3 very nice priced selections and they failed. Well they failed miserably if we are too be honest!! Onwards and upwards and we truly do feel that we have a certainty today at Ascot! We have been told this wont be beat!
First we would like to take a look at another sport, and throw up an anti-post tennis bet. I'm sure you can always remember Harry Findley spotting Roger Federer before his first Grand Slam bet and wading in at 10/1. Well this is not that good as it is a second favourite but can anyone truly not see Andy Murray being the last man standing at Wimbledon this year? Nadal is not fit and if he even turns up there has to be real doubts about his ability to go the whole fortnight. The only man who can beat his is Federer himself and Murray has beaten him the last 5 times. Even with the bookies he is a 3/1 shot, so betfair might have him a juicy 4/1 - 9/2. This is a standout bet!!
On to today's 3 bets, we will again be covering the first three races at Ascot and we are sure we have a certainty for you.
2.30 Norfolk Stakes - Monsieur Chevallier
We know its a short price but this horse is nailed on today. It wont be beat! OK you wont get rich off it but it will pay for your days punting! The form stands out like a sore thumb. The American horse looks a beast but it wont .be getting the best of the us today! This is the first Smash The Wall CERTAINTY.
3.05 Ribblesdale Stakes -Flying Cloud
Although Take The Hint arguably showed the best form last time out and will really enjoy the step up in trip, we have a really strong fancy in the fast improving, very promising Flying Cloud. Today's the day for Frankie and Godolphin to silence the doubters and register a winner at Ascot.
3.45 Gold Cup - Washington Irvine (EW)
What a fascinating race! So many ponderables, can Yeats win it for a fourth time? Very much so. But with his run first time out compared with Geordielands its seems one is going backwards and one is very much coming into his own, with an impressive defeat of Paktai. Out of the 3 main hopes we have to fancy Geordieland to win today but a tentative EW selection will be Washington Irvine, you have to wonder why Howard Johnson is running this one and with the price so appealing he cant be missed EW.
Away from Ascot we have had a little word today for one running in the 7.30pm at Musselbrough - Bookiebasher Babe!
We hope you enjoy todays racing and all the glitz and glamour that the BBC bring to the proceedings.
Good Luck all !

The first post!!
Good morning fellow punters, welcome to our first exploration into blogging tips and information that we have become privy to, through the contacts we have built over the years. We were meant to launch yesterday for the opening day of Ascot but due to a technical glitch we couldn't. So here we are! This site will not only offer tips we are hoping it will become a thriving comunity filled not only with great information but also up to date info along with fun and interesting widgets to keep you all entertained. We want the comments boxes to become full and thriving!
To be fair and honest we put up 3 tips yesterday for the opening day of Ascot and only 1 obliged so we might have dodge a bullet. About yesterday, how impressive was Canford Cliff?? Rightful Guinness favourite? Richard Hughes had a great day!!
We only have 3 selections again today, and rightly they are all at Ascot!
2.30 Jersey Stakes - Nasri (EW)
Second to Alyarf with Donatavium a distance back in fourth, you could say Nasri is better suited to softer conditions, but he has run very well on good to firm and at the odds he is a very solid EW selection.
3.05 Windsor Forrest Stakes - Eva's Request
With the obvious favourite being Heaven Sent, we have it on good word that the trainer expects Eva to beat it, whether that means 3rd and 4th we don't know, but we are sure of a massive run from Eva's Request today!
3.45 Prince of Wales Stakes - Trincot
Landing a group 2 in France last time out this horse is way overpriced. The times of the last run put this horse in with one hell of a chance. Its an EW price but we cant see it doing anything but winning.
Well there you are, our maiden tips for smash the wall! We hope you will use this site to express views and opinions as well as to enjoy the site as a whole. IT IS FREE AND ALWAYS WILL BE!
Hope you are all well and good luck with your selections today!
